Elaine JoAnn Seglem, age 67, of Allen, Texas, passed away June 26, 2017. Elaine was born August 1, 1949, in Wellington, Kansas, to Philip S. and Virginia Muriel (Minor) Woodbridge. She grew up on a farm outside of Mayfield, Kansas and graduated from high school in Wellington. Elaine married Mark Seglem on December 24, 1967, in Wellington. She was a research analyst and spent most of her career in the medical field in various capacities. Elaine was a talented artist and painter. She was a member of Waterview Church of Christ in Richardson, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Seglem of Allen, Texas; sons, David Seglem of Allen and Douglas Seglem and wife, Ana of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandchildren, Carolyn, Eric, and Anthony; mother-in-law, Lois Seglem of Port Charlotte, Florida; brothers-in-law, Kevin Seglem, Wylie Seglem, and Ted Seglem; sisters-in-law, Loretta Woodbridge and Kay Bush; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Gerry Woodbridge and Ron Woodbridge, and sister, Diane Denney.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 3, 2017 at Waterview Church of Christ, 1409 N. Waterview Drive, Richardson, Texas 75080.
