Patrick L. Archibald, a resident of Fate, Texas, gracefully concluded his earthly journey on November 30, 2023, at the age of 72. Born on April 15, 1951, in Jamaica to Anthony and Julia (Taylor) Archibald, Patrick's life was a tapestry woven with diverse experiences and profound contributions.

On December 20, 1975, Patrick united in marriage with Althea Mitchell, forming a bond that endured through the years. His pursuit of knowledge led him to earn degrees from First Jamaica Theological Seminary and Dallas Theological Seminary, reflecting his commitment to intellectual and spiritual growth.

A devoted member of First Baptist Church Dallas, Patrick actively participated in his community and beyond. His dedication extended to serving on the President's Task Force during the Ronald Reagan era, exemplifying his commitment to civic duty.

Patrick was a gifted musician, showcasing his talents through singing, piano, and guitar. One of his favorite pastimes included playing music around family members during the holidays. His artistic spirit resonated in the form of two recorded albums, leaving a musical legacy for generations to appreciate.

In addition to his many passions, Patrick had a profound love for cricket, a sport that brought him joy and camaraderie. Patrick L. Archibald will be remembered for his multifaceted contributions to the community, his love for family, and his unwavering commitment to his faith.

Patrick’s loving memory will live on with his wife Althea Archibald, his three sons Andre (Jennifer) Archibald, Daniel (Kristine) Archibald, and Zachary (Christy) Archibald. Patrick was the proud grandfather of four grandchildren Preah, Bryce, Merrick, and Rylie. He is also survived by his brothers, Dennis Archibald and Donald Archibald and sisters, Lena Thorpe, and Margaret Archibald.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents Anthony & Julia Archibald, his brother Matthew Archibald, and his sister Muriel Anglin.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 4, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Patrick’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/patrick-l-archibald.  After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.

Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.
